[Histonet] Neutralisation of Formaldehyde using Monoethanolamine solution

Dear Netters.

Recently, I read an article which described the neutralisation of
formaldehyde in cadavers by infusing them with a 4% solution of
Monoethanolamine, and I was wondering if the same system could be used for
disposing of used formalin in the Anatomical Path Lab. Has anyone got
anything to offer on this subject?
