Hi Andrea,
I was once visiting an entomologist institute in Budjeovice (yes were
the Budweiser is originally coming from!) in former Tjechoslovakia.
Those guys were fixing all kinds of insects (or part of insects) in
Bouin-fixative and have them then processed to paraffin as usual.
