 I think Thom's  negative comments are off base.

There are labs all over the world that are successfully using the PSA
Tape-Transfer system. They appreciate the fact that cores are not lost in
the water bath as well being able to capture the section with as many as one
thousand cores on the tape with all the cores intact.
