Wheater's Functional Histology is a good short book; it covers the basics.
Ross, Kaye, and Pawlina's Histology: A Text and Atlas is a good long book;
it covers a lot of detail well in 800 pages.

Can anyone suggest a good, basic but thorough, histology book? Thanks C
