[Histonet] Processor - Temp settings

Processor temperature should be set at 2 degrees above melting temperature.
With low melting paraffin as you have, it has the advantage of lesser
heat-damage to tissue.
But I personally think 60°C are ok and you have the advantage of more
soluble paraffin for a better infiltration. There is no damage of paraffin
at that temperature and in the usual duration of use.

Which temperature are you using now?

Hello,

Are you correcting the temperature in processors to match your paraffin
product specifications (i.e., melting point of 50-54 °C)? An external
inspector pointed this out.

Thanks,

Johanna
