I am wondering if drain lines blocked with paraffin has been an issue in your lab. It happens to us once or twice a year and we need to place a service call to have an engineer come and replace the blocked line. We use a xylene substitute (Clear-Rite) on our processor because it provides far superior results for our veterinary tissues. But maybe we should be using xylene for the cleaning reagent bottle. Not sure if that would make a difference. I hope other Pegasus users will take a few minutes to reach to me. ? It happens to us once or twice a year and we need to place a service call to have an engineer come and replace the blocked line. We use a xylene substitute (Clear-Rite) on our processor because it provides far superior results for our veterinary tissues. But maybe we should be using xylene for the cleaning reagent bottle. Not sure if that would make a difference. I hope other Pegasus users will take a few minutes to reach to me. ? Also, with xylene sub, you need to clean more frequently. Another place to check would be to ensure that the xylene bottle has xylene and the alcohol has alcohol. I?ve see this clog tubing before.
