Hi,
I have been asked to do a Sudan stain on a heart biopsy for lipofuscin. The biopsy is in a paraffin block. They are looking to better report and understand the IHC. I am totally unfamiliar with this stain. I did some reading but have been unable to find a protocol for paraffin sections. I found a reference to Sheehan & Hrapchak (1973) but unfortunately I don't have that edition. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated .
