[Histonet] Roche-Ventana Special Stainer

HI Cassie,
We have a 2014 Ventana Benchmark Special Stainer and it works great. As
much as we use it (and we have been told by Ventana that we are pushing it
to its upper limits) and we use it a lot, it still works with little to no
problems. The stains are consistent, the silver stains do not vary and the
rest look lovely too. Stay away from the Gram and EVG, they don't work.
If you have the space for it to stay in one piece that would be nice. We
didn't have the space, but we did have a countertop with a knee hole. I
separated the top from the bottom (it comes apart and doesn't break it),
had holes drilled into the countertop for the hoses, placed the stain unit
on top and the reagent portion underneath the countertop and that works
well too. I'm sure Ventana would not recommend that everyone do that, but
it was our only choice.
If you can get one, you should be very happy with it.
