Hi Mala:

We use the following:

PIP Technical Contamination Control Mat
Vendor: Fisher
Catalogue #: 19-122-822
They work very well; just peel off the top layer, and you have a fresh one ready for the next round of sectioining.

Subject: [Histonet] mats

What is everyone using as floor mats in histogy. The mats we have are very thick and with Holes, we are finding it difficult to move the chairs on them to get close to the microtome for cutting. We were told that carpet of any kind cannot be use. If we remove the mats, the floors are very slippery. Any idea will be greatly appreciated.
