[Histonet] AFB stained smears

The odd time I receive a request to do a Zeihl Neelsen stain for acid fast bacteria on a smear for Micro. My question is what kind of control should I be using? I have tissue processed with AFB, but I feel this should not be used because the smear is not processed the same way as my AFB control block.
