Hi Tim,
We had looked at one time, for a smaller cold plate to be used at the microtome during sectioning and could not find anything suitable. We were told that they would be very expensive and the one example I found was just that. It would eliminate the water and mess of the melting ice if someone came up a cold plate that would hold say 30 to 40 blocks and could be a controlled temperature. As always we need small to work in Histology!!!
