Hi,

We have been processing xylene free for a couple of years in ThermoFisher Excelsior processors. The tissue goes directly from isopropyl alcohol to paraffin. It works well for us. We sought out a xylene free protocol to reduce the amount of xylene in the lab.

We do need to use xylene in the cleaning cycle but it's only a gallon.

Good luck!

Erin
