Beatrice,
How about...your processor monitors the temp. If it falls out of a certain=
range it will most likely throw an error. This is not a recorded temp day=
6 and 7 but is in a sense a monitoring system. Our processors are set up =
with an alarm system that call employees if certain errors occur. Do you h=
ave something similar?

Because I have been told that according to JCAHO (who will be inspecting us=
) that if a temperature is required to ascertain consistency, quality and i=
ntegrity, you will have to record temperature 7 days per week.

And my question is: why are you bothered by not knowing the temp. in a proc=
essor that only starts to process on Sundays?
If the processor is emptied on Mondays to embed=A1=FAcut, take the temp. th=
en.
Other that this you would have to place a sensor and a recording device or =
you would have to make somebody to go to the lab. For just write down the m=
elted paraffin temp.? Too much expense and trouble for an non-existent prob=
lem.

I'm looking for a fix to our problem of no temperatures being taken on the =
weekends. We are closed and this is creating an issue. Our processors are n=
ot running until Sunday night but the paraffin in both the processors and e=
mbedding center are kept molten. Any help would be greatly appreciated
