[Histonet] cytology control slides?

What I used to do was when I got a thick specimen we would prepare 20-30 slides and run one of those each day for a positive control. We also ran a blank slide as a negative control to insure we didn't have contamination in our reagents. Doing these two things were part of our lab to meet CAP guidelines.
