Good morning. These questions are on behalf of a friend who is in the market for a new tissue processor. She wants to know the pros and cons of the various processors in use.
She mentioned the Excelsior, VIP & Leica but is open to other suggestions. The workload is approximately 200 blocks or less per night. She is looking for something the doctors can easily stop and add cassettes to and restart.

She is also looking to replace her old linear stainer, no longer being produced by Thermo-Shandon.  Does anyone know of a company producing a linear stainer?
Or for those who have auto stainers, if you could give her the pros and cons of the models you use.
