We have a vacancy for a Senior Histotechnican. The Senior Histotechnician is responsible for performing a wide variety of histotechnological testing including, but not limited to, microtomy, cryotomy, complex special stains, IF, IHC, enzyme histochemistry and electron microscopy. The potential exists to become involved in research projects within the department. A working knowledge of Lean principles is useful. Theoretical knowledge as well as high quality practical ability is required. Candidates with expertise in Immunohistochemistry and/or Electron Microscopy preferred. Experience in pediatrics desirable. Registered HT(ASCP) or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years histopathology experience in a similar laboratory
