We also transport smears from the clinical lab to our Pathologist and transport them back. The Hematology techs put the Pathologist's comments into our computer system for review by the clinicians.

Subject: [Histonet] Peripheral smear
Our pathologist review peripheral smears for the clinical lab, and I'm
wondering how other facilities handle the reporting. We presently
receive the smear from a tech, the pathologist provides a comment and
returns it to the lab.
