As a matter of fact any decalciying technique presented in any histotechnique book works. The differences reside in the time it will take and the decalcifying method you use.
I will be very complicated to indicate you one, but a commercial productuct called "RDO" is one I used for hard bones and EDTA solution for bone marrow biopsies.
I this you will better of in consulting a techniques book and follow the instructions, especially those related to the "end point" of the decalcification.

Dear Histonet users,

I was wondering if anyone has a operation procedure for bone decalcification that works. I am having no joy in decalcifying the bone and making a good slide from it.

Thank you for your time.
