As a newbie trying to learn as much as possible, I'm disappointed when questions are posted and the responses are sent to the individual. I learn more when the responses are shared. Also, an archive search on the subject will have limited information. I would think there are many in the same boat - those who want to learn more about the craft. Even a review of the basics is good reading for me. That is why I "reply all" instead of "reply."
