[Histonet] Processing Whole prostate

The important aspect is fixation. Let your PA slice the whole prostate and place them in the so called "mega-cassettes" in a plastic container over a vortex so they rotate inside the NBF for at least 24 hours.
After that just use the longest of your protocols. If you have one that has worked well for brain tissue, use that one.

Hello to all in histoland.  For those who are doing whole mounts for
prostate,  be willing to share the process with me.  My lab is looking
into to doing this.  I would need to know the euipment used and
processing times.  Your help in this matter would be greatly
appreciated.
