How about microwaving to dry slides? Can that cause nuclear bubbling?
When you say completely drained off, does that mean your slides have to be completely dry prior to placing them in the oven?
Thanks,
Sandy

Anybody can experience nuclear bubbling in any type tissue as long as the sections as set to dry at high temperature BEFORE they are completely drained off!
