*REGISTER TODAY <http://brnsymposium.com/meeting/brnsymposium/2009/>!*

Registration is now open for the National Cancer Institute's 2^nd Annual
Biospecimen Research Network Symposium
<http://www.brnsymposium.com/meeting/brnsymposium/>, "Advancing Cancer
Research Through Biospecimen Science," March 16-18, 2009 in Bethesda,
Maryland.

The symposium will address the significant impact of pre-analytical
biospecimen variables on cancer research and molecular medicine. Hosted
by NCI's Office of Biorepositories and Biospecimen Research
<http://biospecimens.cancer.gov/>, the meeting will bring together
leaders in the fields of biospecimen research, genomics, proteomics,
oncology, pathology, biobanking, hospital administration and
pharmaceutics as well as patient advocates.

*Location*:

Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center

5701 Marinelli Road

Bethesda, Maryland

*Sessions include*:

    * Using the right biospecimens in clinical research and care
    * Evidence for pre-analytical variability during the acquisition and
      processing of tissue biospecimens
    * Solutions for reducing pre-analytical variability in
      biofluid-based biomarker R&D
    * Considerations for experimental design in biospecimen research
    * Strategies and tools for accessing and publishing data in
      biospecimen science
    * Evidence for the proper use of previously banked tissues
    * The patient's perspective on research in the biospecimen sciences

Please join us for this stimulating and informative three-day event that
will feature presentations, interactive discussions and workshops about
the issue of biospecimen quality and ways to address it. Register
<http://brnsymposium.com/meeting/brnsymposium/2009/> now to reserve your
