The laboratory I am working for is looking to hire two team members:
The first being a laboratory assistant duties will include accessioning,
assisting the grossing technician, load and unloading the tissue
processor, performing quality control on the tissue processor, recycling
reagents, embedding tissue in paraffin, storage and disposal of tissue.
The candidate would rotate through these assigned work areas and perform
additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
The second being an HT/HTL or HT/HTL eligible individual to join our
growing team; the duties will included embedding paraffin, loading and
unloading the tissue processors, cutting paraffin blocks for H&E,
special stains, and IHC slides, IHC staining, special stains, and other
routine Histology duties. The candidate would rotate through these
assigned work areas and perform additional tasks assigned by the
supervisor, and have 1-2 years of Histology work experience.
