You do not need help with this, you need to get far away from this.
I can't believe your institution does not have a protocol for this!
Are you really going to take recommendations from Histoneters who are 
not MDs?
I can just see you testifying at the malpractice trail (after the 
infected/necrotic tissue causes serious
illness or death) that someone on histonet told you it was OK to ...........
Get my drift?
This is obvious malpractice on the surgeon's part. Run like hell.
