We used to incinerate them after keeping them for the prescribed time period.

For clarification, this is not because I need info to write a manual. Our 
state does not have any clear guidelines, and a USDA official is trying to 
get an idea of "what other labs do" to help certify a new lab in our

Can you share with me how your lab disposes of blocks and tissues? What 
logs or records are kept?
