Histonetters,
Has anyone tried the Premiere Microscope Slides - charged - from
Cardinal yet? If so how did you like them? Any feedback would be
appreciated. Thanks, amy

Hi Amy,
We have been using the Premiere slides, both charged and uncharged,
for about 6 months now. We purchase them from Mercedes Medical. The
difference in price between these and our old slides is amazing (just
about 1/3 the cost).
The only complaint that I have with them is that they are about
1/16th of an inch short of 3 inches. This becomes an issue because
we cut sections and dry them on edge in metal racks. So one end of
the slide is held in place, but the other doesn't quite meet the
metal designed to hold it in place. We adjusted to this by squeezing
the sides of the rack, making the sides of the rack bow in a bit.
I don't know how much longer we will be using them, however. We have
just purchased a new slide writer and it is recommended to use
clipped corner slides with this instrument. The Premiere slides have
a small clipped corner, but I am not sure if we will have to go to a
more expensive slide to get the best performance from the slide writer.
Hope this helps to answer your questions.
