I am confused:
1- is the indicator comming up but the water does not heat?, or
2- is the indicator comming up and the water heats up?

In any event those water heaters are very simple, there is just a thermostat and some connections, there is nothing to "reset".
Call somebody to look at it.

  Hello All:
Quick question. The overheat indicator on my water bath keeps coming on and
won't heat up even though it has been disconnected from a power source for
some time. Is there a way to reset this mechanism or should I call someone
to come look at it.
