Eric: Try Giemsa in any modification. pH is critical, better approximately 5.5-6. It is longer than H&E (1 h or so), but you will have in result as eosinophils as mast cells. Dehydrate through acetone, clearing and coverslip as ususal. Sincerely, Maxim Peshkov Taganrog, Russia.
