Unfortunatly I am not a microscope expert. But last time he tried, to open the condensor (I think) and the effect was milder. But it wasn't optimal. Something like making the microscope worse than it actually is. I will try do get the answers to your questions (diffuser,...) and then come again. Gudrun Lang
