[Histonet] In Situ Probe Design

Does anyone have experience designing DNA oligos to probe tissues for
RNA viruses? 

 

I am considering the choices of terminal versus internal nucleotide
labeling and biotin versus digoxigenin. (Detection will be via HRP)
Also, any thoughts on optimal probe length?
