In a previous job, I used 5% gum tragacanth to freeze rabbit myocardium
in. It cut well and orientation was quite easy as it is stiffer than
OCT.

Subject: [Histonet] OCT questions

Hi There,

Would anyone happen to know if there is a way to attach frozen tissue to
cryostat chucks without using OCT media or super glue?

Also, what are the 86% non-reactive ingredients in Tissue Tek OCT media?

Thanks,

Surita
