[Histonet] To Ventana or not to Ventana

I use two of the Benchmark XT's and love them. You could use the other open
systems and cut down on cost per slide. You have to take into consideration
your staffing. You can train other techs easily on the Benchmark. It would
be much easier to rotate staff or make up for those sick days with the XT.
If you tried to train them on an open system which includes making up
buffers and so on, then it may be more of a headache. Good luck.

We are considering buying some new equipment. I would like to know who uses
the Ventana Benchmark
immunostainer or other immunostainers and what you like and don't like about
it.
