Michele,
I have used an anti-VWF on paraffin and cryostat sections as well as eNOS  
abs.  The VWF was a polyclonal, and consequently had a bit more background,  but 
the ECs were stained very nicely.  The argument for the VWF, is that  not all 
ECs may express VWF.  eNOS should be present in ECs.
