Hi everybody,
I am new to this, but I have a question for anybody who uses Vibroslice from Campden instruments. I bought their Vibroslice MA752 exactly a year ago. For last few weeks we had problems with cutting brains (tissue was sheared) and I could feel very slight up and down movement of the nose (blade holder). After talking with people at Campden instruments, I decided to sent it back for repairs and today they contacted me telling that this is usual wear (initially they said due to years of use and after I told them the machine is only one year old they corrected themselves it could be one year use) on the bearings and I will have to do this repair regularly. I was pretty upset about that as they charge 150 GBP for repair (and I have to pay the postage), and they never mentioned to me when I was buying it that it will need a regular change of bearings. As I am not at all happy with that I would like to check if anybody else has the same machine and same problems with it - I would really like to hear it.
Thanks to everybody,
Gregor
