It would be most helpful to us if you would please let us know precisely
what you wish to finally accomplish with your frozen sections.
It is possible to demineralize before fixation and retain the basic
structure of the hard tissues so that you can demonstrate Haversian
canals, Volkmann canals, canaliculi etc. but generally any soft tissue
will be macerated or at least greatly distorted.
